Connetra does not mean anything. It is not latin or the name of my goldfish….his name is Bob. I chose it partly for its connotation of connection and added a twist of the French phrase for “to be” (etre). Effectively I could have named the company “To be connected”
To be connected……part of our recruitment business specialises in connected devices (IoT, Smart Cities, Smart Homes) and another part focusses on renewable energy and a more efficient Smart Grid.
In recent years I have seen recruitment becoming less of a contact sport and I want to bring back the connection – the value of a highly networked individual like me to provide the very solution your business needs or you, as a jobseeker, deserves.
Online portals and “computer says no” infuriates job seekers and hiring managers alike and I want to bring back the human element. Look at the testimonials on my Linked In profile and you will notice a common theme ……I take time to understand people and their needs.
